Why should I supplement my child’s diet with BrainStrong?
DHA is a particularly important nutrient during the first two years of life and early childhood when the brain, eyes and nervous system are growing and developing at a rate unlike any other time in the human lifecycle.* Based on their eating habits, you can’t expect children to eat enough of the right healthy foods to get what they need from their diets.
How much DHA does my child need?
The Institute of Medicine of the National Academies recommends a daily dose of 70 mg DHA for children from 1-3 years.
How should I give BrainStrong Toddler?
As a powder, BrainStrong Toddler can easily be mixed in with certain foods: 4oz. of yogurt, 4 oz. pudding, ½ cup oatmeal, 1/3 cup mac-n-cheese, ¼ cup mashed potatoes, 1 cup 2% milk.
